What is real bravery?

Real bravery is not about committing injustice,
but bravery is about confronting injustice. No matter how brave someone is, if they commit injustice, they are not brave, but rather they are called oppressors. If an oppressed person is being oppressed, they should confront it. There has always been oppression in human history, and there have also been those who have stopped oppression. If we study the history of centuries or thousands of years ago, we know that oppression has been happening. The first oppression on earth was committed by Cain by killing Abel. Cain committed oppression like murder to satisfy his lust. Later, as the number of humans increased, oppression also increased. Food was forcibly taken away from the weak and humans were also made slaves. As the world progressed towards modernity, there was also innovation in oppression. There are many characters in human history who loved oppression. Humans were burned alive in fire, sometimes they were killed in pieces, and sometimes, while showing brutality, they did not even care that the hands, feet, and noses of the corpses were being cut off. Cutting off the hands, feet or other limbs of a dead person is considered the height of hatred. One wonders where so much hatred comes from that the limbs of a dead person are cut off and the severed limbs are made into a necklace and worn around the neck. Human skulls have also been used as utensils. Such brutality was seen that even humanity trembled. When powerful and cruel people came to commit atrocities, they would destroy cities. There was no rule or principle in their eyes, only and only cruelty became their purpose in life. Piles of corpses were piled up and these corpses became food for animals and carrion-eating birds. Towers were built of human skulls and so much human blood was shed that blood started flowing in the streets like rainwater. History is full of stories of cruelty and there are such stories of cruelty that today’s civilized people tremble at the thought. Killing a human being was considered very easy. People were also sawed and burned alive in fire. Many prophets were martyred and many intellectuals were put to death. Voices raised against oppression were also silenced.
Now the question is, has the oppression stopped? The oppression is still going on. In the past, new methods were adopted to commit oppression and new methods are being adopted even now. In the past, people were burned alive and are still being burned alive. Cities are being destroyed and destroyed by throwing shells and gunpowder. Look at the situation in Gaza, it has become a pile of rubble. People are being destroyed and destroyed. There is oppression in Ukraine too. The fire in the Middle East is not being extinguished. Many other regions are being subjected to oppression. Who is committing this oppression? Only those who call themselves modern and civilized are committing oppression. Oppression is considered bravery. Oppression has been going on in Kashmir for decades. Women’s dignity is being robbed, people are having to struggle mightily to survive. Many Kashmiris have been disabled for life and countless Kashmiris have been imprisoned. The modern arms race is pushing the planet towards destruction. Millions of people are killed in hours and it is proudly claimed that we are ending terrorism. Food was taken away in the past and food is still being taken away. The right to live is being taken away from people and still the process of enslaving people continues in the name of reforms. Somewhere they are being tied up in the form of debts and somewhere they are being enslaving people in the name of defense. Somewhere terrorism is being spread by announcing the end of terrorism. Weak people are forced to make compromises, although it is well known that these compromises are being made under compulsion. The atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki caused millions of people to be wiped out in a short time. Gunpowder has been thrown in Iraq and Afghanistan has also been targeted. Human rights were not taken care of. Many years ago, people were dragged naked on the ground like animals in the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. Who can mention that in the name of bravery But injustice was done.
It is a pity that only the oppressors consider themselves brave. Those who commit the most oppression are rewarded. Real bravery is to stand up to oppression. The war fought against oppression, oppression, corruption and terrorism is called bravery. Fighting against oppression and fighting without strength or weapons is called bravery. The first war in Islamic history was the “Battle of Badr”. An enemy three times more powerful than oneself was fought and the enemies also had more weapons and other facilities, but the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his companions fought with great bravery to stop the corruption. There was also a fear that if those few people were wiped out from the face of the earth, nothing would be left. Bravery is to stop oppression. All the prophets including Jesus (peace be upon him), Abraham (peace be upon him) and Moses (peace be upon him) kept showing the path of truth and trying to stop oppression. Many other Muslims besides There are also people belonging to different nations who stand up against oppression. It is also important to clarify that oppression has been prevented in every religion and every civilization, it is only humans who embrace oppression. Even in the past, every good individual has fought against oppression and is still fighting against it. Standing up against oppression is the real bravery. The real brave is the one who retreats even when he is right. According to a hadith, it is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The most powerful person is not the one who is the one who pushes (the opponent) back too much, but the most powerful person is the one who controls himself in the moment of anger.” (Al.Bukhari) The real brave is the one who does not give place to any fear or dread in his heart when facing oppression. A brave person does not care that he will be killed while fighting oppression. Claims are being made that human rights will not be violated, but these are just claims, the reality is the opposite. Oppression and injustice are the hallmarks of society. Therefore, it is particularly dangerous. For peace in society, oppressors should be bravely confronted.
